COD-MW3 Carbon Optical Drive

Jason J.

The COD-MW3 writes carbon onto a magnetically charged optical disk. The carbon is read by a UV laser and a photo-diode. Electrical discharge erases the disc. The capacity of 1.4 quadrillion terabytes and can host the same amount of data as 700 Billion computers. The entire Internet could fit on a single COD. Current storage technology would fill one million city block sized data centers and that space would now available for people to live and work. Research needs to be done on nano-technology.
