The Satellite Operated Magnetic Inter-Stellar Highway (SOMISH), will help solve fuel consumption problems during space travel. SOMISH uses high-powered satellite - mounted magnets to propel a spacecraft in space. The magnets will have reversible polarities and strengths that can pull or push a spacecraft. The magnets on satellites will accelerate in strength as they get closer to the landing target as to pull the space craft toward it. In conclusion, this will reduce fuel consumption in space.
