The Future of Trans-Atlantic Travel

Airplanes have always been good fun and quite fast, but for getting from New York to France in 3 hours planes fade in comparison to this invention. Utilizing Ion thrusters ,which has been used for space travel, to speed across the Atlantic. You see, in a sense the image depicted is a monorail, but it's hull is shaped like an airfoil. As it gains speed it no longer acts as a monorail but as an aircraft, reducing drag and gaining speed. To slow down the craft it then deploys air brakes as depicted
