Do you know the problem when you are in an airplane and heading home from a vacation? It takes forever to get home. If you are wondering why, well, on the last 30 minutes of an airplane flight the plane goes from 600 miles an hour to 100 miles an hour before it lands. What if the plane did not have to slow down? I've created something that allows a plane to land at full speed safely. It is a piece of metal that comes out of the bottom of the airplane and gets caught by a thick piece of wire on the runway. Try picturing a paper airplane and a rubber band. The paper airplane gets caught in the rubber band and stops. Are you worried about the wire snapping? Well there are going to be multiple wires as a backup. Think of all the time we will save.
