THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, ON MARS
Hi. I just got back from Mars. I have so much to tell you about life there, so we should get started. In the future, people from Earth live on Mars. We also go to Mars for vacations, which is what I did. Mars has so many amazing things.
I found the houses to be so marvelous. Just like here, the Marzers (which is short for Mars Colonizers) grow all their own food. Unlike here they need green houses. Each house has a green-garden house near by.
Marzers have inflatable homes that they bring with them when they come to MARS. The structures have foldable walls that make them strong. The outer skin is a solar panel system that powers the inside and heats it and lights it up. There are batteries so that in bad weather and at night you still have power. The walls of the structures are inflated and insulated and are made from a very light-weight and strong fabric invented just for space.
The furniture and conveniences are built into the walls. Mars houses have almost all the comforts of home on Earth.
There are of course a few precautions you must take to live safely on Mars.
1.) Always have a space suit available—a must for going outside.
2.) Always have your escape pods refueled and supplied for the journey back to Earth.
3. ) Don’t cut corners. Mars is harsh and cold but a beautiful place in its own way.
It is such fun to watch the two moons, Phobos and Demos dance in the night sky. If you look just right you can probably see Earth.
I had a great vacation.
